BOTOX Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxin A) is a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. When injected, BOTOX can temporarily relax the muscles of the face and neck which cause wrinkles associated with facial expressions.

The Treatment Process

At Taylor Vein Solutions & Laser Aesthetics, we value safety and excellence. That’s why all BOTOX injections are performed by a licensed physician (M.D.) with over 20 years of surgical experience. During your appointment, patients can expect:

Personalized consultation: Injections are not one-size-fits-all, and require personalized treatment plans for each patient. Detailed consultation with our physician and medical aesthetician will address patients’ skin concerns during every appointment.
Before & After photos: Photos to track patient’s progress will be taken and stored securely on clinical chart. No photos will be used or shared without patient’s written consent.
Sterile preparation: BOTOX will be re-constituted at the correct dosage with sterile equipment during the appointment.
Comfortable treatment: Fine sterile needles ensure relatively pain-free injections. Treatment time lasts 10-15 minutes.
Easy scheduling: It’s easy to schedule your next touch up or other aesthetic service!

What to Expect After Treatment

Post treatment discomfort, swelling, or redness is common. Most people have slightly swollen pinkish bumps at the injection site following treatment. These will usually fade within 24 hours as the BOTOX solution is absorbed into the muscle.

Practice gentle facial exercises for the first hour after treatment (frowning, smiling, raising eyebrows, moving mouth). Avoid manipulating the areas excessively to prevent spreading the toxin (i.e. avoid vigorous exercise, do not rub face for at least 1 day, do not sleep on injected areas).
