“We rise by lifting others.”
Robert Ingersoll
In a world full of creative and unique minds, community is the key to empowering and lifting each other up. At Taylor Vein Solutions & Laser Aesthetics, we treat the sense of community as one of our main virtues. This Summer, we strived to connect with our community with the focus of health and confidence.
Our goal at TVS&LA is for every patient and client to feel as comfortable and confident in their skin as possible. With this goal in mind, we were grateful to have had the opportunity to sponsor and attend three outstanding events this Summer: Running to Honor 5K, Give & Get Fit 5K, and the Downriver Senior Olympics at their opening ceremony.
We kicked our Summer 2023 events off at the Running to Honor 5K event on July 29th! This annual event raises funds and awareness for veteran suicide prevention. The goal is to keep the memory of our Fallen Soldiers & Veterans alive and to remind others that freedom is never free. Veterans and active soldiers often spend strenuous amounts of time on their feet while fighting for our country, which can lead to spider and varicose veins.
We were given the opportunity to support the cause while educating the community on the importance of treatment and recovery for venous issues. Although it was a rainy day, participants were “embracing the suck” by finishing the race to honor veterans and soldiers!
Next up, we made our way to the Detroit Riverfront for the Rhonda Walker Foundation’s Give & Get Fit 5k event on July 30th! The Rhonda Walker Foundation’s mission is to empower inner-city teen girls towards becoming strong, confident, successful, and moral future leaders. As one of our goals being to promote confidence for our clients, we love to connect with the RWF community to come together to achieve empowerment!
We gave attendees the opportunity to win amazing discounts on our laser aesthetic services by spinning our prize wheel, with the chance to win up to 50% off any laser service package. This event was a success, hosted on a beautiful Sunday morning with a great turnout of participants!
Last, but certainly not least, we sponsored the Downriver Senior Olympics’ kickoff at their opening ceremony on August 14th! This was excitingly the DSO’s first year back since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was a success. The event’s mission is to raise funds for the senior communities of Downriver with the goal of fitness in mind.
We got the chance to support our home cities of Taylor, Romulus, and Allen Park at this event while educating attendees on our varicose and spider vein care, as well as our laser aesthetic services of hair removal, skin facials, and spider vein removal. It was a great day of connecting with our surrounding communities!
We were so thankful to be able to attend these events, while helping raise funds for each organization and cause. Each of these events turned out to be a success and we can’t wait to see what next Summer has in store!
